Our International Junior Summer School program is running for its tenth year and proves more and more popular. The students love to combine morning English lessons with a full programme of cultural visits, sports and activities. The programme is available June, July and August and is available to all levels.
Levels: Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2) Advanced (C1).
English lessons are held every morning, from Monday to Friday (09.30 – 13.00) at one of our locations within the capital city London. All courses are supported by its own syllabus and a published EFL course book. All handouts are provided, no purchase is necessary.
Lessons focus on developing confidence and fluency in speaking and teach the core language skills.Vocabulary and pronunciation work are integrated into each session. We use role-plays, project work, and task-based activities to develop students’ communicative skills. Students are encouraged to present projects in English and visiting teachers are invited to the end of course production which all students take part in. Students learn through British topics which include food, history, geography, culture, myth and legend.
A week will include 1 full-day excursion, normally on a Saturday and 4 afternoon activities or visits.
The minimum age is 10. Maximum age 17. There is a maximum of 15 students per class.
A Junior English Language is 20 lessons (15 hours) per week in the mornings.
1 lesson in the UK = 45 minutes
Homestay accommodation is provided as are all meals.
Students will be awarded a certificate of achievement upon completion.
